Terms of Use
1. Terms
By accessing this School, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this School are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
2. Use License
- Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of any downloadable materials on the School’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- modify or copy the materials;
- use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
- attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the School’s website;
- remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
- transfer the materials to another person or 'mirror' the materials on any other server.
- This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by the School at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
3. Disclaimer
The materials on the School’s website are provided 'as is'. The School makes no warranties, express or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, the School does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.
4. Limitations
In no event shall the School be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the School’s website, even if the School or an authorized representative of the School has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
5. Revisions and Errata
The materials appearing on the School’s website may include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. The School does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. The School may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. The School does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.
6. Links
The School has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by the School of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.
7. Site Terms of Use Modifications
The School may revise these Terms of Use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms of Use.
8. Governing Law
Any claim relating to the School’s website shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
9. Additional Terms for Aerodemia Courses
Effective October 22, 2026. These additional terms apply to all courses offered by Aerodemia, including DO-178C Essentials, and form part of these Terms of Use. If they conflict with Sections 1 to 8 above, these additional terms control. They do not override the Teachable Terms of Use or Teachable's student refund rules.
9.1 Refunds and certificate availability
You may request a full refund within 14 days of the date of purchase by emailing aerodemiasupport@gmail.com. The final assessment and certificate of completion become available only after this 14-day refund period has ended. All course modules and module quizzes are available right away. Once a certificate of completion has been issued for a purchase, that purchase is no longer refundable. When a refund is issued, access to the refunded course ends.
9.2 One person per account; no sharing
Each account and each purchase is for one individual. You may not share your login, let anyone else access a course through your account, or allow multiple people to use one purchase. Group, class and team access is available by arrangement; contact us at aerodemiasupport@gmail.com.
9.3 No recording or redistribution
You may not download, record, screen-capture, copy, reproduce, publish, broadcast, upload, sell, share or otherwise distribute any course videos, narration, slides, quizzes, assessments or other course materials, in whole or in part, except for files we expressly provide for download for your personal use. You may not use course materials to create a competing course or training product, or to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
9.4 Certificate of completion
To earn the certificate, you need a score of at least 90% on each module quiz and on the final assessment. Each can be retaken up to 99 times while your 90-day access period is active. The certificate awarded on finishing a course is a certificate of completion of that course only. It is not a certification, license, credential, accreditation or regulatory qualification, and it is not issued, recognized or endorsed by RTCA, Inc., EUROCAE, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) or any other certification authority. Aerodemia keeps a record of issued certificate IDs and may revoke a certificate obtained through fraud, account sharing, or a refunded or charged-back purchase.
9.5 Educational content only; independence
Aerodemia is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by RTCA, Inc., EUROCAE, the FAA or EASA. Course content explains and paraphrases DO-178C for teaching; the authoritative text is RTCA DO-178C / EUROCAE ED-12C. All courses, quizzes, checklists, tools and other materials are for general educational purposes only. They do not signify compliance with DO-178C or any regulation, are not a means of compliance, and are not legal, regulatory, engineering, safety or certification advice. Make project and compliance decisions with your organization's approved plans and processes, the published standards, and your certification authority.
9.6 Coupons and discounts
Coupon codes are subject to the conditions stated when issued, including expiration dates, eligibility rules (for example, student or alumni rates) and usage limits. Single-use codes may be redeemed only once, by the person they were given to. Only one coupon may be used per purchase. Coupons have no cash value, cannot be combined, transferred for payment or sold, and cannot be applied to past purchases. We may ask for reasonable proof of eligibility for a discounted rate, and may cancel access obtained through a coupon that was used fraudulently or by someone not eligible for it.
9.7 Access period
Your purchase includes 90 days of access to the course, starting on the date you enroll. Access ends automatically after 90 days; you can buy the course again to regain access. The final assessment and certificate unlock after the 14-day refund period, leaving at least 75 days to complete them. Once issued, your certificate is yours to download and keep; please download it before your access ends.
