Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the School collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “Student”) of the School. This Privacy Policy applies to the School and all Courses offered by the School.

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in the School or a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. Students may visit the School anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Students only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Students can refuse to supply personal identification information but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School-related activities.

How we use collected information

The School may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service
    Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
  • To personalize user experience
    We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided in our School.
  • To send periodic emails
    We may use Student email addresses to send Students information and updates pertaining to their order. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, or other requests.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Student personal identification information to others.

Third party websites

Students may find advertising or other content in our School that links to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites that have a link to our School, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The School has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By enrolling in the School, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not enroll in the School. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

Additional Privacy Information for Aerodemia Students

Effective October 22, 2026. This section adds detail to the Privacy Policy above. If they conflict, this section controls. This school is operated by Aerodemia and hosted on Teachable; Teachable's own Privacy Policy covers Teachable's handling of your data.

Information we collect

  • Account and contact information: your name and email address when you create an account or enroll.
  • Purchase information: what you bought, the price, any coupon used, and the purchase date. Payment card details are handled by Teachable and its payment processor; we never see your full card number.
  • Course activity: your course progress and lesson completion, quiz and assessment answers and scores, and certificates issued to you (including the certificate ID and issue date).
  • Communications: messages you send us, such as support or refund requests, and any comments you post in the school.
  • Email preferences: whether you opted in to course news and tips.
  • Technical information: Teachable and its service providers may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, using cookies and similar technologies, to operate, secure and measure the school.

How we use it

To provide and deliver your courses, issue and verify certificates, process purchases, refunds and coupons, respond to your requests, send course and account messages, improve our courses, prevent fraud and account sharing, comply with legal obligations, and, only if you opted in, send occasional course news and tips. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

  • Teachable, which hosts the school, delivers courses and processes payments, and its payment processor (Stripe);
  • our email service provider, if you opt in to emails;
  • our website hosting and analytics providers;
  • professional advisers, or authorities when required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud;
  • a successor organization if Aerodemia's business is transferred, subject to this policy.

Reviewing and changing your information

You can review and update your name and email address in your account settings. To request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, email aerodemiasupport@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. We may need to keep certain records, such as purchase and certificate records, where required for tax, legal or verification purposes. Deleting your information may end your access to courses.

California privacy information

California residents may request information about the personal information we have disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not track you across other websites over time. Our school responds the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, which we do not do.

Retention

We keep account, purchase, course progress and certificate records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide access, verify certificates, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Email-list information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our school is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at aerodemiasupport@gmail.com and we will delete it.

How we notify you of changes

When we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. For material changes, we will also notify enrolled students by email or a notice in the school before the changes take effect.
